I'm wondering whether the Scarlet is an S35 sensor at 4k for motion. I've seen the charts indicating a 1.6x crop but on the specs page on red.com, it says the Scarlet's max depth of field is S35 for motion, does this mean that it's S35 only at 12fps for 5k? I have a hard time believing that Red would tease us with an S35 sensor that we can't use. Unless, there's some kind of update down the road...

Also, I was hoping to get some advice on an affordable shoulder mount solution (preferably with Red's rail components) or any comfortable handheld rig. I don't like the redrock and Zacuto is out of my price range. Ideally, I would have a grip underneath the camera with a shoulder mount for added support. That configuration is most comfortable to me. However, I can't really figure out how all the components work together in the Red store.

    Thanks in advance.

    Scarlet at 4k = S35
    Scarlet @ 5k = +S35

Quick take on this - the Scarlet sensor (which is the same size as RED MX and Epic) was described as roughly an APS-H size (1.3 crop factor) at 5K and about APS-C size (1.6 crop factor) at 4K. That makes it about S35 size at 4K.
