Might be a re-post (?) but this YT user TearsGoneUp claims this is 4k Scarlet footage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4Ghu...eature=related
Oddly, posted weeks before the Scarlet announcement itself.

HIs other video is test footage of the C300. I'm guessing hoax
for supposed scarlet footage thats quite a bit of compression, even for YouTube or maybe my eyes are functioning this evening...
Highly doubt this is though, I mean cmon, RED would obviously know the Scarlets that are out there and chances are they are by some of the highly respected members of this forum like OffHollywood...
They would definitely pipe up and say that 'heres some scarlet footage'...not post it on YouTube and say nothing...just a thought
Though could be totally wrong...
Well as the files went up 3 weeks ago before Scarlet launch....

Look at the edge detail on all the subjects...it's pure crap, over sharpened non-sense. Plus the camera clearly has a fast shutter on it for exposure compensation, it resembles that of a 60D or 7D, especially with how unstable most shots are. I couldn't make the EPIC that unstable if I tried. This "Scarlet" footage is as shaky as a 7D when handheld (it's not heavy enough)...
Almost forget to mention the user stated he used the "new" 35mm lens that RED has made for the camera...the user probably thought Scarlet Fixed was going to be released, so that makes it pretty false.
And the user disabled comments on the video so he wouldn't get flamed.
This is pure crap, all of it.
100% fake. The same videos had "Canon C300" in the title Nov. 3rd. Probably one of the cheap Canon DSLR's and Twixtor...from the looks of it...
Everything on YouTube is REAL
