    Trying to get through this suspense masterpiece, shot on Red 1. The most interesting aspect is the bizarre color grade - everything from sepia to saturated. Looks like the post guy was more interested in playing with his software than supporting the story. Lots of cute only-possible-in-digital motion effects. Like eating too much birthday cake, the novelty wears thin. A better look for something like a Gilliam fantasy than this stock action flick.

    Yeah, it was definitely a low-budget affair in the post-phase. The whole thing was done in Michigan, which isn't exactly a mecca of post-production houses. That being said, the place that did the post work is more on the indie side of the industry from what I see and their setup is low-end and bare-bones, as befits their budgetary restrictions.
