I just recieved my first one of these today, but I wont be able to use it until Scarlet arrives....which brings me to my main question here.

The manual does not give much detail on how to maintain the health of this battery. Does anyone have any tips on how I should go about charging this battery when I'm using it throughout most of the week vs. using sparingly. Should I keep it on the charger at all times when it is being used frequently or do I charge the battery until it is full and take it off until I'm ready to use it? I'm more familiar with keeping Anton Bauer batteries on Logic Seriesо Lifesaverо Chargers at all times. I read that I should store at 25% and in cool environment, so that answers my long-term storage question, but I'm still wondering about frequent vs. infrequent (maybe once a week) charging methodology.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks,
    Adam

This is strictly coming from memory of what I have read.... But I do not think it is good to keep them on a charger all the time. If the 2nd exploded/dead Apple MacBookPro battery tells me anything.. :-)

I own 5 of the same battery you have and 4 of their non-Red version. 1 of them got lost @ a shoot in April almost 2 years ago... Over a year later, 2 rainy seasons, and a Coastal NoCal winter it was found... Still had a 75% charge!!!

As far as the tech of storing them... the guys & gals at Swit are easy to talk to.

But I am sure there are many here well versed in the maintenance and lifeblood of batteries!!
