The wooden handgrip exists, it's getting the proper trigger connection to the camera that's been the pain. Simple circuit, just need someone to make it. If you want a handgrip simply to hold the camera we can sell you that today. Whenever the trigger is done you could add it on with no retrofit.

    Hi Mitch,

That sounds great. Can you post (or email me) the details.

    Thanks,

AbelCine is not currently a sponsor on REDuser, so I wouldn't be comfortable posting a link. But you can go to our website and search for "red handgrip."

Thanks for the update. Curious what type of rosette this wooden grip will have... Arri standard or Red (dsmc)?

Sorry just noticed your question. It is a varizoom D-8081A 88wh. Keeps the epic going for at least an hour and a half.

We can deliver the Aaton handgrip in ARRI Rosette order the original Aaton rosette, but even Aaton has moved away from that one to ARRI now. I have seen a soon to be released ARRI-to-RED rosette adapter from a third party.

Using an old Aaton grip w/ an Abelcine 15mm rod adapter. Works great... but looking forward to upgrading to the triggered version when its ready.
