    Hi!

When there is a red rocket in the system, the cpu power is also used to decode redraw or not?

The CPU is used, but not for the debayering. There is further tasks. Why?

because if I plan to buy a new Mac Pro and the CPU power isn't needed for debayering, I'll buy the 4-core + a red rocket... that is a bit more than the 12-core mac pro, but I can use the red rocket on a thunderbolt chassis with a Macbook if I want...
