    Hey guys,

Just wondering if their are any REDucation classes or similar classes (or anything that anyone can recommend) in the New York area? I'm buying a Scarlet and would love any more info. I don't know if this is the write forum listing for this... if not Mods go ahead and move it. Just interested in learning more.

    Thanks!
    Ian

They did one at Tekserve with PatC from Offhollywood as the instructor in May this year. It was really cool, I am sure they will do it again eventually. Worth every penny!

I have been emailed several times from people asking me to do this so I have been planning a one day event if there was enough interested. It Would be a break down of the EPIC cameras (hands on of course), build different configurations for handheld or a big studio film, play with different lenses from master primes to HAWK anamorphic, shoot some clips, and discuss and demonstrate workflows including a tutorial on REDcine-X pro etc.

Anyone interested in that let me know.
