    Hello !

I'm just wondering, between the Touchscreen, the side handle and the Redmote, wich interface to control the Epic / Scarlett is the best for you ?
    Share your experience !

    Thanks.

All of them as it really depends on what job you are doing or the setup for the Red. On a Jib the redmote, handheld the side handle and the LCD on tripod.

Do you have a camera assistant ? I guess you never use the side handle yourself if you have one ? I'm maybe wrong.

I like the touchscreen best, redmote is slower to use, I don't have a side handle yet.

I end up taking the redmote from the DOP as I do the directing. The side handle I use when I use the camera for stills and the LCD is great for the DOP if he needs to make changes. I would really say it depends on the job we are doing and what locations we are filming in. We also have a panasonic 9" LCD for my clients so they feel like they are taking part in the projects.

    Thanks Stephen and Chris...
That answer to my questions I think. The Redmote is usefull only when your are at distance. The Screentouch is great and the sidehandle is maybe the thing I can not buy !
