If you look on the blog, in the FAQ it goes into the meaning of the title, but essentially, it's named after a poem from the time, from someone who lived through the London blitz
Just a little update! Starting to think about the colour grade using DaVinci Resolve lite, in love with that program, am totally sold on it.
And of course, the Epic footage is a total treat to work with. I'm not working on the R3d files, I'm exporting the EDL clips as .dpx sequences with RedFilmLog baked in, since that's going to be the workflow for VFX.
What do you guys think of this look?
Looks great!
Ooh, didn't keep an eye on the thread. Thanks, Matt! : )
I'll be posting some new bits next week, as the VFX officially kicks off. I'll keep you guys posted regarding intense VFX work on the Epic footage, if you like? Will be piping it into RedLogFilm dpx sequences at 2k for most shots (same workflow as MPC London, where I worked last summer), and 4k for any shots that will need stabilising or projecting.
Here's the first VFX shot & breakdown!
Completed in 3 days, in Nuke and 3ds Max.
Working with 10bit DPX sequences with RedLogFilm baked in, beautiful stuff to work with.
nice work!
Right then, here's the trailer!
Hope you all like it.
Hi Everyone! Just to say the film has finally been released online. Please watch, share and enjoy it : )
