Wanted to see what other people's experience with this company has been filing a claim. Don't want to put my trust in a bad/shady company right? (Not saying they are bad or shady)

Yeah, I remember Tom's Epic-M went for a swim. Let us know who you go with Kyle. I need insurance too.

No big worries. I’ve been working with them for 3-4 years.
    Very easy claim system:
You fill the claim form, you get a call from their adjuster, you send the proper paperwork (police report, purchases receipts, replacement or repair quotes, etc.), you get another call from the adjuster with the resolution of your claim and you get the check).
They have a "new" underwriter (Onebeacon Insurance Group) who seems not to have much experience with film productions companies. Or I must say just an adjuster with no much knowledge of film production..
Besides that the only other issue I have noticed was a delay in a month of processing your claim instead the 10 or so days they cliam. All very nice people though.

Yes they replaced my Epic M after I did some unintentional underwater filming at the Salton Sea. I can recommend them. The carrier was called Fireman's insurance or something like that.

On a side note, don't go with Allianz, you get dropped after 1 claim. Shopping myself.

Thanks Tom. They seem to be reasonable priced and straight forward. I need to make a decision very soon but im leaning towards insuremyequipment.com. ("One Beacon Insurance Company").

I also heard great things about Fireman's Fund. But looks like insuremyequipment.com are now using One Beacon.
i only found this on one beacon which is far from great: http://boston.citysearch.com/profile...insurance.html and http://www.getpayback.com/insurance/...con-insurance/ and http://philadelphia.citysearch.com/p...nce_group.html

    any thoughts?
