How does everyone compress their footage? My stuff was uploaded at full uncompressed 422 (1.2gb file) and it still looks pixelated? Is Vimeo better?

Justin I generally use some kind of compressor that uses x264, to export the h264 codec for web based projects. I believe thats what Red actually uses when posting their footage online, but I can't seem to find a link to support this. I'll keep looking. I have not worked with much Red footage, but this is what I find to be the best solution for my motion graphics and DSLR work: I generally export to something very close to Lossless, and then actually use Handbrake to compress the file to h264, as it uses x264 and is free! The results typically have very few artifacts.
Also, vimeo seems to look better to me, but thats just my opinion. There's probably not too much of a difference.
