Just checking - there is no support for timecode in OpenEXR files in After Effects, right?
Seems like After Effects reads timecode from DPX files but not OpenEXR.
I'm moving to EXR (away from DPX) as file format of choice due to the file size savings, greater precision, ACES-forward-looking future, ability to save arbitrary channels, etc.
Then I realized that After Effects happily ignored my OpenEXR timecode stamps.
All of my comps start at 00:00:00.00.
Anyone have a solution or am I just being an idiot trying to do OpenEXR in After Effects and should move to Nuke?
Current best solution I can see is that FNord OpenEXR plugin for AE is open source so I should contact him - or add timecode support myself? Been a while since I did the ol' C++ thing but I vaguely remember the AE SDK...
