I have a self contained quicktime prores and an edl that a director gave me all from FCP. The problem that I have run into is when I reconform the edl using the provided edited quicktime for a pre grade as he is not finished with editing completely yet, not all shots link up. He used a mix of camera's a Panasonic 100, Sony F3, Canon DSLR and a GOPRO. Most shot work but some of the clips are showing up as black squares on the construct. Some shots are also not breaking up properly having two or three shots in the construct range.

I have not seen the FCP timeline yet but was hoping someone could help out with this.

Hi, I started working with Scratch last week, so I don't know too much about it, but I had the same problems. The black squares were because a wrong codec in the quicktime file (one that Scratch couldn't understand), I exported those same files with another codec and fixed the problem, and I also had the problem with the shots not breaking up properly, the bad news is that we had we had to fix it manually, replacing shot by shot. Scratch picked the first shot when it needed the second, the second when it needed the third, etc.

    Hope it helps.
