Thanks guys -
hoping to take it to my shoot tomorrow and see if I can't steal a shot or two since we'll be on a lit set... might be better than available light shots in my living room of my dogs.
:)
My accessories all shipped at once in one box and it weighed 9lbs.
My brain with SSD Module shipped in a seperate box and it weighed 15lbs.
New Scarlet in town:)
Just made payment for my Scarlet X after allocation notification sent me two days ago!
Hope it will land soon here in Italy for wonderful shooting!!

SCARLET-X S0-51188 (ordered on november 3rd)
Skimming through the Backorder thread on Recon. Jarred posted today, that tomorrow will be a great day for a lot of people. I'm sure it has to apply to a lot of the Scarlet people.
Whoa, got my allocation notice on Tuesday, paid same day, expected maybe 2 weeks to process/ship, but already got a FedEx notice 2 days later. Just went from waiting purgatory to full steam ahead!
I thought he meant next Friday? I hope he meant this one. Though, unless they have been secretly stockpiling scarlet and not shipping them out, I can't see the update being anything more than a new get-out-of-backorder target date. April now? I don't mean to sound negative, but I've yet to see an instance where new information was an earlier than expected date. Each time the new information solidifies a later than expected date. Again, they wouldn't be withholding shipment information from everyone if the news is good. If they had the ability to say "all scarlets ordered by x date will ship by y date", they would. They've lost orders due to their inability to do so. On the plus side, they are making this all locally in California. That's huge. I'll gladly accept a delay and inability to predict production rates if it means staying local.
