Does anybody know how many Scarlet are made/sent out every week?
I've heard something like 250 but looking at the list, it just seams impossible...

So my SO number is well past 58000. Does that mean that there are 58,000 people in front of me in line, or is there another reason for the large number. I ordered on Dec. 29.

When I look at the list, there are several other orders placed after mine that are beneath 10,000.

It only takes an 8 person team 13 minutes to assemble a Scarlet. Red employs over 400 people and has a large manufacturing plant.

In my opinion they "could" easily make 500 cameras a day right now but... the problem is that there are thousands of tiny parts that make up a Red camera. 10% (i.e. hundreds) of those parts come from Japan. If one single part is missing, they can't send out the camera.

"My guess", is that there are hundreds of scarlets that are 95% built just waiting for a small handful of parts to arrive. This is why they "plan" to be out of trouble in Feb.

The numbers in the list are only the last 4 digits of the SO number.

No, the so# is for everything that is bought from red, not just Scarlets. If youre going by the list there are only about 500 orders and I doubt that there are any more than 2000 orders for scarlet at this point.
