I did the Red Armor ... btw ... given the price jump of the camera and that it is a BRAND NEW model, makes sense i think. Is a bit pricey ... but for an extra 2 years ... is nice.

quick question to people who had their cameras shipped,

I got my Allocation last week on the 4th i believe.

But im on Turkey on a shoot, and i got locked out of my Gmail (stupid Two step verification.....). Does Red need a "confirmation" email to ship, or they just do it when the camera is ready?

They will only contact you if they need to - if they have your shipping information and the funds are already in your RED account, or they have the credit card on file that you're using to pay the balance, then there should be no reason for them to contact you, or for them to need any confirmation from you.

My Scarlet went from Allocation to Shipping without me having to do anything at all (because I'd already put the funds in my RED account for the total amount).
I just got a shipping notification yesterday.


From the allocation email:
"Only in the event that we need additional information will RED individually contact you again before order processing begins. If everything is already in place (addresses, funds, etc), order processing will begin as soon as you are up in the delivery queue."
