Haha Everyone always looks so confused by the side place for where the SDD module goes in these videos. Congrats! Have fun with it. Can't wait to see what you shoot!

I find it very entertaining that everyone keeps commenting on the smell of the camera coming out of the box.

Also, #695. So there are at least ~700 in existence, yeah?

Not really. Serial numbers are all over the place.

"In existence" doesn't necessarily mean 700 cameras delivered. I assume they come off the floor in numerical order.

I seriously doubt the serial number has any significance in terms of the order it comes out the assembly meaning the highest serial number in the wild does not indicate the total number of completed Scarlet.

Well i'm sure we can agree that at the very least, the back plates are machined sequentially (in batches). But I can see how they might just be tossed in a pile and attached to nearly complete camera bodies randomly.

Yeah, my assumption is that the cameras are completed in numerical order, then put in a pile, and then grabbed at random, bolting a lens-mount on, then delivered.

Didn't occur to me that the camera bodies themselves could be finished out-of-order.
