I hope this doesn't sound like me being a downer, but if they have only just allocated Zac his Al mount now (and he was first in line at the event!), surely that doesn't bode well for the rest of us. I would have expected that Zac might have been allocated one on the 1st of Dec - three weeks after shipping starts seems odd to me.

Well, yesterday Jarred posted this in reply to a question about the Canon Al mount:

They start shipping on the Scarlet cameras tomorrow ( finally ).. will be awhile before they get in the store as separate items.

So, yeah, looks like it's taken a bit longer to ramp up than they'd hoped - but the good news is they starting to ship out now in (I assume) decent numbers. It'll get here when it gets here.

Yeah exactly - I was originally concerned because I wanted to use my Scarlet for my own wedding mid Jan. But I'm trying to make plans to hire two Epic's instead now. Takes a bit of the pressure off :)

Not to sound completely sadistic, but statistically speaking, how does it feel to know that your wedding footage will be more future proofed than your marriage? LOL!
