yes please we need a new rubber eyecup. Dp4 is fantastic (i use it on 5D and use Bomb EVF on Epic) but the rubber eyecup is awful.

Just ordered my DP4 with EVF kit today. Big thanks to Dave and the SmallHD guys, as they were able to work around an unusual issue and get it overnighted to me so I can use it on a big shoot next week. Just wanted to let everyone know that their customer service is great, and can't wait to start using it. I had been considering Zacuto, but after reading all the great reviews about the DP4, I decided to go with that, and their customer service just sealed the deal for me. Thanks, guys.

Have you used the DP4 on a pass-through signal from another source? Scarlet users can't use HDMI and SDI at the same time, so my workaround would be a TV Logic with HDMI loop through. Scarlet --SDi-- TVLogic --HDMI-- DP4.

I'm a bit concerned about signal lag while operating. Has anyone tried this?

EDIT: TVLogic states that HDMI loop out is "1280x720 59.94i/p only." And there is only one HDMI port. So does this mean it accepts an HDMI signal and converts to SDI, or accepts an SDI and converts to HDMI at 720, or both?

My DP4 arrived today, and I'm very impressed. The quality of all components (except the sun-guard) are top notch, very sturdy. Plenty of menus and customization, the EVF is very solid, and looks great. So far have only used it on my 7D, but I tested out the focus assist and false colors, and they make a huge difference in getting proper exposure and focus.

Shooting with it in Mexico this week, and hopefully I return to a fresh Scarlet to try it out on.
