Hey Jarred, do you guys Have any idea if a true time lapse mode will be enabled? It would be great to be able to do some really long exposures.

As always amazing and supper beautiful Tom.

Just a footnote on Toms work. I was in the local Best Buy here in San Diego the other day checking out a new monitor/ TV and in the upper quality level area of their sales floor (the Magnolia room) they were using his movie to demo the best they have to offer in viewing. Lets put it another way, even the big S and P brands had his work running on their screens to show what level of quality these very pricy screens can do. I thought it kind of ironic. And in the large home theater room.... They had to ask me about a dozen times if there was anything they could show me... I just keep asking if they still had eyes on my 5 year old. In the gaming section.
Thank you again for sharing Tom.

Hi Tom ... sounds like things are going great !

I was wondering if you would mind sharing for timescapes what the sales rate is of download vs blue ray vs dvd ... and any lessons learned in that process? (i.e. not the actual sales number, but ratio between the channels)

    Hi Patrick,

Good question, an the answer is that, for us, 81% of disc sales are blu-ray and 19% are NTSC / PAL DVDs.

Possibly not a representative result, as most of our press has positioned us as the '4k, super high res' movie.

    P.S. I was the producer / composer :)

Awesome music ! Timescapes is my GOTO movie when i want to show off my 12 foot wide home theater (hehe ... watched it friday night with friends). Another great thing is it's one of those movies that you can experience over&over ... and still find stuff to discuss about it.
