Yeah, I imagine if Red wants big productions to use their camera's, they'd have the big boy lenses lenses read on the Epic... The MX did it.... and even the little F3

There is a bunch of Cooke, Zeiss, Angeniuex, Fujinon, and likely upcoming Sony lenses who will want a home with i/tech or those arri/zeiss that have LDS.

IMO, Arri tried to be different and stubborn with LDS, they should just reconfig for a 12' pin location and go i/tech.

Does anyone from the Red Company read the posts here, like they do in Recon? Can I get any sort of update of why nothing but Red lenses work as of now, and when they think it will be available, considering the MX did it, and Cooke invented the i/data system. What can we do at this time?
Thank you Red Team for unlocking/correcting the i/data technology. Cooke lenses are reading correctly and all his happy in Cooke/Epic land. Thanks!

I've wondered which posts they read as well, and would also really, really, really like to use Cooke Panchro/i's with the /i data actually being captured.

Having read the /i spec and worked on an implementation, this should be a very simple bug to fix (and doesn't even require a programming genius). I have no idea why this isn't higher on RED's list.

/i wouls be nice, please... I find it quite sad that the new zooms don't support it either - as the old ones did, neither does the primes... Wish I had pretty cat eyes, but I can still say please...

I don't want to be annoying, but the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I second this request. Seems like an easy fix/update but would be so great for the Cooke's.

Has anyone e-mailed Red directly? One e-mail to the right person might be louder than ten posts here.

Give it a few days for new years to settle down, then start e-mailing or calling directly?
