How can I upload the R3D? I' have plenty of light and would never have had this problem with my RED MX. I've shot this same thing dozens of times with no noise from RED ONE.

Noise is everywhere on the jacket. Mostly all blue channel. His Jacket is dark, but as you can see, there is plenty of light. I shouldn't be having this problem.
Looking at this jpeg, it looks very underexposed. In Photoshop, the white on the key side of his collar has a brightness value of only 80%. The brightest spot I can find on the flags is only 61%. The only thing that approaches white are the out-of-focus lights out the window at extreme the left of the image. Is it possible that you were getting clipping indications from those and backed off the iris to compensate? (And in doing so underexposed the image?)

Save an R3D snaphot of a frame with this button

and upload it as an attachment, or mail it to me john at kippertie.com and I'll host it.

Be nice to resolve what this could be :)

In RCX PRO Just export an R3D snapshot.

It's one frame of the r3d file, compress it and upload it.

Or DO what John just said to do.

Too big to upload, even when zipped. I'll be glad to email it.

Been thinking the same. The noise is way lover in Epic then in R1-MX, but the noise it better looking in R1-MX.

I'm not experiencing lower noise in EPIC. Just the opposite.

Your attachment is an RMD, not an R3D. :) Also, have you sent a sample to RED to investigate?
