We recently bought one of these for our up-coming production from this company, MG1 Concepts. Great specs. Can't beat the price either. For Scarlet or Epic eyes only.

I'll report when we get it. Hopefully soon, we aren't too worried though, we've bought other products in a pinch & love their customer service. Glad their coming into RED territory.

    Nice to have more options.

    I still don't get it... isn't what they're selling just this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...old_Mount.html
Plus a quick-release plate?? In which case the quick-release plate isn't really free... it's $100. Either that or they're just selling the QRC-EPIC at a $100 markup?

Sorry to sound like an ass, it really isn't meant that way, but from the description and the image on their site, this is how it seems... some clarification wouldn't hurt here.

MG1 AB Pro Battery Plate: $499

    AB QRC-EPIC Plate: $399

Uh...I still don't get you? Do you have some beef with this company or what? I'm confused what do you what to hear from them. I'm guessing you stole their picture from their website, and posted here. Do you have permission to do so? We should start with that.

They are selling a detachable plate with it, so what is your point? What clarification do you need? Is that a problem that its only $100 extra for the Anodized Aluminum Detachable plate? Do you want them to charge more? You could say V/Factors is $300 more because they are basically doing the same thing; their cable is coming from the middle much like B&H and your STOLEN picture of MG1's. They have a Removable plate...are you griping with them about their price of charging $300 more. They must be ripping off Epic owners too. Have you gone over to their thread, complained about them and shown your comparison conspiracy.

Again, you need to talk to them needing more clarification about their products and your beef with them. I can't speak on their behalf. Also, when you talked to them, make sure you mentioned that you stole their AB picture and posted on REDusers without their consent. I imagine they wouldn't be to happy about that. Hope you have a good lawyer.

A lawyer for reposting a photo from a Sales site and providing the link to such a site? Good luck with that lawsuit.

    Haha my thoughts exactly.

Ava, I see you're new here... perhaps you don't understand that the forum is for sharing, asking and learning stuff. Nobody's attacking anyone here... well, except for you... I was simply asking a question that I believe is pretty legitimate. If you have some valuable input that isn't an attack, please, go right ahead. If not, then kindly bug off.

Okay, Trevor...what are you asking then? Its plain English...they are selling an Anton Bauer plate or a V-mount with a detachable plate. I'm still not understand why you are so confused by this.
What is your legitimate question? Its pretty straight forward.

Curious, Trevor...did you buy a V/Factor plate say Anton Bauer mount? And if so, did you notice its the same Anton Bauer plate?
