The latest issue of Film and Digital Times and Mr. Fauer delves deeply into all of the latest 35mm digital cinema cameras... all except for anything Red. There are many new and exciting releases but surely this was not an oversight and they could have found a little room to discuss Epic and Scarlet.

    What gives?

I have a paper subscription to film and digital times ... and was searching for why they don't mention red much ... one of the few links even mentioning them and RED came up to this thread. For example the last two mags going over nab, but i think they mentioned x more then RED ... in the last one ... there's a reference to the hobbit ... mentions arri in the context but not red. I've liked the articles, and I also like getting a lot of my news in paper ... but I'm getting tired of this weird slant. I'm somewhat glad I'm on the finance end (aside from the one movie i'm producing) so I don't have to deal with this type of thing.

If you fashion a rebel brand who spits in the face of the industry establishment and their journals . . . don't go looking for "luv" from same. Live by the sword - die by the sword
