    Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" trailer will be posted beginning tomorrow Dec. 20th.

    It is hard to describe how important this is for RED, and to me personally.

    Peter embraced RED from the beginning. He invited us to New Zealand to test our RED ONE prototypes and to shoot "something" for NAB. That something turned out to be gathering an army and shooting "Crossing the Line".

    "The Hobbit" is destined to be (no words capable to describe)...

    How proud are we to have taken our camera concept to the ultimate cinema experience? Incredibly so... this is the big one.

    I'm just not sure it ever gets better than this...

    I can only imagine how you must fill about this Jim, a TRUE MILESTONE for RED in deed!!


    Btw, I'll be at PJ's facilities in Wellington NZ shortly, sure hope that PJ will have some time to show me around "The Hobbit" set and get a glimpse of the Army of Epic at work... ;)

    of course been granted the privilege top see the trailer in 4K at ParkRoad would also be nothing short of Fantastic!!

    Peter has 48 EPICs (24 3D rigs) and has shot more footage than any movie in the history of man. I love Peter. "Go big or go home". :-)

    It'll be great seeing a trailer, but I can't wait until the film is released a year from now! I've already marked my calendar for 12/14/12. At least if the world ends, I'll have seen the movie by then. :)
