    Evening REDs,

I would like to know if anyone has done any testing on cine zooms for Epic at 5K? I know what the Canon 16-35 can do but have no experience with elite cine zooms. I would like to have a very high quality, wide angle zoom in my bag or to rent and would like to hear anyone's Epic 5K experience with lenses like:

    1. RED 17-50mm
    2. Zeiss LWZ.2 15.5-45mm
    3. Optimo 16-42mm or 15-40mm
    4. Ruby 14-24mm
    5. Others not on list

Would prefer a EF mount option since that is what is on my Epic most of the time so that gives an advantage to the Zei$$ LWZ. Would love if the RPP's came with an EF option.

    Thank you in advance!

Josh, to my knowledge, there is no 15-50 Red Zoom, only a 18-50, 17-50 V1 and V2.

    Red also has a 50-150 and a 18-85.

I personally have the 18-85 and I love it. but if you are in need of a lighter system, don't go with it.

11 lbs, but worth every ounce.

    Edited "17"

Does the RED V2 17-50mm cover the Epic sensor at 5K?

I think at 5kit you have to punch in to 18-19. Don't quote me on that.

There's some tests in the lens thread.
