I used to use text wrangler, available on the Mac app store, to do that before clip finder did when that fixed the looping bug in color a long time ago.

Just use the search and replace function of that or any text editor that will allow you to save as whatever file extension you choose.

it wont do it... i need to go from FCP to adobe premiere an replace de .mov with R3D, final cut is giving me too much problems... premiere is editing the r3d very smooth... but i just need tha in between process

the thing is that is a long feature... it would be a lot of renaming to do

You can have it automatically rename all instances of .mov with .r3d . Should take less than a minute.
