Has anyone done a benchmark to check if RedCine goes faster in XP or in Vista?

Is RC even supported in Vista? Scratch only runs on XP, and assimilate make both. If some one has vista and can clarify that would be awesome.

    Thanks

does not supported mean no tests have been done on vista? or does it mean that you have tested on xp and it works with xp?

most new systems that people have waited to build will be built with vista... seems like xp will not sold anymore after december 2008.

It means we tested under XP (32-bit) and support that platform (with Service Pack 2). The main focus has been on development of the tools. This year more focus will be put on compatibility testing as well and the supported platforms will expand.

Customers have reported success under Vista (32-bit again), it's just not officially supported yet. I think there's one installation issue at the moment for example.

More on this in the coming months!

I've got Vista 64bit on my Macbook. Will do some testing when I'm feeling adventurous.
