I'm using the Action Products XLR Audio Adapter “Calliope” with my Epic in beta build 2.05. After rebooting I sometimes loose my audio. The green buttons (lights) turn Red. I pulled out the mini plugs and tried spare XLR to mini plug sound cables. No joy. Re-set up the audio Audio/Video>Audio Input>Unbalanced. There's another menu where you can choose the input, Brain or Pro-module. When I turn it to pro module I get green lights. Anybody having similar issues?

    Thanks!

Next time it happens, try plugging and unplugging a mini jack into the headphone jack. This has worked for me. It's usually on a battery change.

That's an interesting observation. When we first set it up upon plugging in the headphone jack the lights turned from red to green and it worked. Later on battery change the headphone jack trick no longer worked.

Yes, I've had bad success with audio on this build... fortunately for me, I am normally just using it as scratch.

Had this same problem, i was geussing it had something to do with slowmo recording. When turning the camera off, still in varispeed mode and then going back to normal speed after a reboot solved the problem, strange bug...

I have had issues on previous builds where I just lose one channel but not the other. It went back to normal after a reboot, probably a similar issue on this release.

I'm on 2.05. This is impossible to work with. I have the Action 15mm Audio Rodmount and I have to completely dismantle each time the camera powers off to be able to access the mini plugs in order to unplug and plug back in to get the VU meters to work. Battery unplug and/or headphone unplug does not help at all. Any other solution at All????

Upgraded to 2.0.8 - nice one-check box, but same problem (audio meters not working). Downgraded to 1.7.10 - audio meters work perfectly. No playback option though. Upgraded to 2.0.5 straight from 1.7.10 - same meter problem. Downgraded and upgraded to 2.0.8 - still same problem. Finally downgraded to 1.7.10 one more time, then back to 2.0.5 and what I discovered is if I kept one mini plug unplugged, the other booted up and worked properly each time. Not the greatest solution, but beats dismantling the Action Products 15mm rodmount audio, however you only have one audio channel with this solution.

Caveat - when you reinstall the action products 15mm audio rodmount there is no room anywhere to leave the mini plug unplugged, so unfortunately the above idea is moot.

Update - Red said they are able to replicate my problem. They are working on it.
