For anyone interested, I ordered 3 of the 160's and a 2 channel charger on Jan 10th. Wired the money Jan 11th. Received the shipment this afternoon (1/19). Everything was packaged nicely with each of the 4 components in their own box surrounded by foam (semi-custom foam in the case of the charger) inside a larger box full of cushioning. The batteries seem to be on par with most batteries as far as build quality. The charger is very plastic but seems to be decent quality plastic and feels solid, albeit light. There are little folding "feet" for the charger to help it balance. To me, the light weight and compact size of the charger is perfect for traveling. The company responded quickly to emails as well.

% going to the camera is also dependent on the battery plate used... just FYI

So with a VF Vmount plate, it's a waste to spend the extra money on RED versions from Globalmediapro????

VF will show voltage with any battery, but can anyone confirm that the VF won't show*percentage with these RED versions??

    Actually it's this one: http://www.globalmediapro.com/dp/A00...er-AC-Adaptor/

@Steven - correct, the VF plate won't provide % info to the camera. The plate Chris linked, the one I purchased, will.

I hate to ask again, but I didn't got this information clear.

I'm going for the Gold Mount GMP batteries. These ones specifically http://www.globalmediapro.com/dp/A00...-Battery-95WH/

I've read in other threads people using this without a problem, though in this thread its said that 95wh will not be enough for the Scarlet.

Is this correct? Should I buy 2 of these instead? http://www.globalmediapro.com/dp/A00...Battery-160WH/

    Thanks for your time!
