I certainly have had a lot of fun posting some of my inner most thoughts lately (although I needed to delete some of them)... :-)

I'll be offline for a bit. Everyone needs a break.

Suffice it to say that I believe in a 4K delivery, and I support anyone in the industry that wants to "make it better".

I appreciate our customers and those that believe in RED and pushing the industry forward.

Look to Jarred as your primary RED source for the near future. He speaks for all of us and he does it well.

My best to all in 2012.

    Jim

Jim, hope you continue to post here after the break. Its great to hear your thoughts and it is yours and Jarred's posts that give Red the more "passionate" and "personal" touch to the whole Red operation. It is probably one of the main points of criticism from the competition, for sure, but you're all doing something that has never been done before, at least in this industry. Its a cynical industry, indeed, specially at the high level of the business side, but I'm sure this communication and attitude will pay off in the very near future with a vast number of new costumers and spokespersons for your cameras. And their images will speak louder than any competing marketing words.

I'm just a small, insignificant voice in the world of audiovisual production, but as a costumer, please, Never lose the drive, the passion and the attitude to face this bland, corporate industry. There's no such thing, in my view, as a consensual "brand" specially when passion and emotions are involved. I hope you, Jarred and the rest of the Red team keep sharing with us this passionate and unique side of Red.

Have a nice break, and I hope you will take part of the world tour. Will definitely (when you guys hopefully come to Hong-Kong or Macau) do whatever I can to attend (if you are open for registration, of course!)

    The future is RED.

Well, so is the present now for many of us, but it still sounds cool to say.

Don't worry guys. Jim needs a break. He'll get some sleep, smoke a cigar... and then come back. What else could he do ? :-)

    I wish everyone a great year !

Don't go too far Brother Jim. We invested a truckload of money in your bad RED attitude. Keep rocking the boat.

Have a wonderful cleanse and recharge Mr Jannard.

You've made a huge difference to aspiring digital cinema makers like myself. We won't forget anytime soon. Till then...

Me being on the East Coast I usually miss those threads that quickly get deleted. You sure are up late for this one... Take a break and get some sleep!
