nice thing is that it offers, sdi and hdmi loop throughs. so you always have options. no matter what camera system. and having all those extra functions like their 6-7 inch monitors is icing on the cake. but if its super sharp, color is halfway decent, and has good contrast to it. it's gonna be a winner.

i am strongly considering returning my bomb evf and buying this when it releases (plus anything else I want with the remaining $2k!) Why not? With all the Bomb EVF issues etc...

    Any insight out there?

Please recalculate: 800x400 is almost half the number of pixels of 960x640 on a similar size panel( 3,2" versus 3,5" )
Moreover you will get more features : HDMI & HD-SDI loop-through and full 1080P. More features will be highlighted in Feb.

Here's to hoping TVLogic can bring this in for $1200 or less!

considering it's both hdsdi and hdmi in a very small form factor, i think it's a great deal.

I love seeing "960x640" right next to "1080P". Which is it?

I understand they're advertising a supported input format rather than an actual display resolution, but it's comically misleading. How long before we're all having to answer to "...but the TVlogic is better because it's 1080!"

Cynicism aside, looks cool! Will be fun to see it in person.

For reference, you can get a TVLogic monitor that's HDSDI and higher specs for under $1200 http://www.filmtools.com/tv-logic-5p...i-monitor.html
