Nice setup ...I see what you mean by a sore back.....do you have assistants helping you ?

I was reflecting back on the "old days" on getting similar shots with Elemac "Spiders", jibs & hot heads & three grips & 2 trucks and long set up times. Its amazing how far gear has come........a lot more sore backs then.

Assistants ... well ... my wife holds the door to the backyard ... and kicks my ass as i leave. But I mainly do everything myself ... it's the rails that are about 6 feet off the ground that are a killer ... I normally have around 30 feet of rails. This is for a personal project so I do most things myself ... (i'm on the finance side ... so normally I don't even get to touch a camera ... let alone deal with the grip rigs ... so is a bit like playing with my Dad's tools while he was off at work;)

Dmitry, wow am I confused. That cage was that cheap, and it arrived? No dodgeyness/scam?

Yeah it arrived well - I was 100% sure that it looks like some sort of scam - but no, it arrived and I'm pretty happy with the quality.

I just pulled the trigger on the cage special. I'll see how it works with my x gear. I ordered 2 days ago and haven't heard from them so I'll just have to see how long it takes to get in.

Mine takes about a week... But it definitely something interesting with this page - HOW come they have SAME product twice for totally different price? Have no idea. But Now I really complaining about not getting entire RIG from them for less than $600 :)))

Here is a look at my rig. Scarlet-X AL with CinemaOxide IDX Plate, x bottom plate w/ 15mm rods clamps and top handle, RedRockMicro Matte box and Follow Focus Blue. Another setup includes the Zacuto EVF mounted off the handle.

Hi Martin ,what is the length of your 15mm rode,I have Redrock micro mattbox,but my rode is very lengthy so I can't do proper rig,I have all the same parts from x also,Please help me
