    I've designed by myself and build in a workshop here in Italy, I need to change some things but it works great. The ki pro is firmly united to the brain and the top plate. The strange box is just to deliver the power to the brain and the kipro. Is a bit big because I used the xlr plugs and it helps to keep the baricentre slighty on the back when I use with the shoulder.

    I've looked through all the pictures here. A lot of people are using the WC quickback. No one has the adaptor module mounted though. Has anyone considered this? Somewhere on reduser I saw pictures of a busted A mount on the epic using the WC QB.

    Thoughts anyone?

    probably a great idea - but I'm sure most may not want to spend the extra money, and have the extra ¾ inch + a few ounces of added weight 'cuz that would be a deal breaker… (especially with all the other 'extras' that they have mounted on the body already.)

    */smarty pants off/*

    edit: I might add that both backs I've purchased - VF & Wooden - have screws to hold into the camera, as well as being mounted to the 'A' Mount.
    Can't believe I get paid to do this.
    If I don't own it I rent it...

    The mount from MG1 Concepts mounts directly to screws. If you don't have the screws in, it won't stay put. Not saying it's better or worse, just adding that it, too, relies on screws in those mounting holes. No idea about Action Products' mount; never seen it in person.

    Just have to share this. I think I've rigged up the most compact Scarlet dolly system possible:

    That's a Scarlet with Side Handle, Redvolt, an old 5" Red LCD, All Star Top Mount, Manfroto plate, Pico Dolly.

    The Manfroto plate is needed to keep the Side Handle form hitting the wheels. The only thing I wish I had was a way to angle the camera a little up or a little down.

    I. Love. This. Rig. It's so absurd, but it works.
