jon, does the bridgeplate from the o grips let you attach the obox directly to it or is that a special part?

This is what we have currently, trying to get ideas on how to improve balance, etc.

That could be tough to balance when you've got dual displays, a matte box, and handles which (presumably) far outweigh the v-mount battery. Maybe ditch the extra monitor, mount the camera on the shoulder pad directly, and lose the handle extensions... That would place more weight directly over the shoulder, meaning the battery would only have to balance lens/mattebox... and handles... Hmm... still might be front heavy.

Speaking of battery, is that a lemo extension cable? Or is it a REDone BatteryBelt-to-DSMC cable? I was hoping to find a cheap way to give a quick-plate/v-mount power cable an extra few feet so I could mount it on my belt (or toss it in a pack) instead of having to mount it directly on the camera... You know, for when I want to be really small/agile/handheld.

Hi Elliot - How are you finding the Cartoni - Currently deciding whether to go for that one or the MAnfrotto - Phil Holland is very happy with the Manfrotto and I usually find his advice very insiteful and appropriate - would like to hear how are you fairing with the cartoni - I used some higher end cartoni and was always happy with performance so I'm interested in what you think of it.

    Thanks
