Oh, kay... cool, I was confused about what the two different modes did... Would you happen to know if you can disable all the video overlay (goalposts, stop lights, histogram) on the monitor when you hit record? I'm still hoping to use an off board recorder (like the Pix or Samurai/Ninja) as the monitor as a short-term/temporary solution.

Looks like a Pro Aim / CineCity shoulder pad and bars - I have the same one. No doubt it may be available with different names.

Great looking minimal rig, by the way.
I really like the redmote, it's very neat! Haven't tested the side handle or touchscreen, though. All I can say is that it's heaven compared to my old DSLR, hehe :)

And as Harrison said, you can format SSDs with the redmote through the menus on the display.

It's a very cheap one, from India, Pro Aim. Replaced the 15mm rod-clamps at the top, with a simple quick release system.

Patrick, the handle is actually just a generic handle purchased off of eBay. It is outrigged with the x Easy Stick.

Here's my setup from the Eclipse shoot:

Once the lens gets heavier then the Scarlet - it's the Scarlet that rides in the air. And this is when you really appreciate the double locking Canon EF mount...
Had to also reverse the GearNex head back-to-front as the Scarlet would hit the tilt wheel, worked fine this way. To track slow moving subjects on large telephoto lenses (like this 800mm) you really need the geared head and even then it is a challenge...
All supported by my trusted Manfrotto 545GB sticks...

The hoodman built for the 5.6inch R1 LCD works perfectly on it! I'd grab you a link if I wasn't running out!
