Can't play in real time with the Red Rocket... And the MXF transcoding are very slow, like without a RR !!!

Always the same problem with the AFF files... They appear randomly when exporting MXF.
You know that if Alchemy is on then you render in the CPU's... could be your problem.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the still store doesn't work properly (on 9 or 10). When you hold the number of the still it stores the image of the frame. Then, you can play the clip in the viewer or adjust the grade. Clicking the number to recall the still toggles the still store function and recalls the image but clicking again does not toggle the still store off. The still store image is still displayed, even though the number is lit up. You have to navigate on the timeline or use arrow keys to advance the play head to refresh the display with the clip in the viewer and not the image in the still store.

Please have a look and fix this because in grading dailies we rely on an easy to use and functional still store. Thanks.

    OUPS...
Indeed, the Film Look was enable... It's the reason why it was very processing consuming... My mistake !
So, it's much quicker as the previous versions... Incredible ! `

But in 25f/s and with sound, the problem is not fixed... Impossible to create AAF files for DnxHD transcoding.

This is a problem with the Avid DNxHD SDK that we use. We can't fix that on our end. Hopefully we'll get an update soon. In the meantime a solution would be to export video & audio separate and loading both assets in to your Avid.

    workaround:
export 25p mxf without sound + BWF files of the same clips from rx.
takes only a couple minutes more and both tracks autosync perfectly in avid.

    hope that helps.

    edit: robcode was faster hehe
