The lens was just serviced by Red in July 2011 and has been used maybe three times
since ( I use my set of Zeiss primes whenever I can).

    Superb condition. Glass is flawless.

Opposed to the new 17-50mm Red Zoom this is not a ‘dumb’ lens but has contacts at
the lens mount that communicate data such as focal length and aperture to the camera.

The lens comes with a front and a rear cap.

Gearing up to buy some much pricier Angenieux Rouge zooms. This is why I am selling it.

    Tech Specs:

    Focal length 18-50mm
    T-Stop range T3-T22
Close focus to lens front 1.73 inches
Minimum Marked Object Distance 8 inches
    Maximum Format covered super 35mm
Drive gear 0.8 / Arri standard pitch
    Lens Length 4.12 inches
    Front Diameter 4.5 inches
    Weight 2.3 lbs
