Today the deposit was put down. Scarlet-X kit with the Canon Ti upgrade, another 64GB module, Redmote, and the Pelican case. See you at the Open House on 2/29! (The wait begins ...)

My Epic is ready to ship (trade-in for #583). Unfortunately, it will not ship with a Redmote or LCD and I do not yet have the Side Handle I ordered in December. So, once I receive it it'll make a lovely paperweight. I hope some controlling device comes out of backorder soon.

Received Epic M today, but no touchscreen. Luckily we happen to have a rental Epic X in the office just back from a shoot, so I got to play with the new M a little. Hoping the touch screen gets here soon so we can use the camera!

I ordered my epic nov 30.. I received everything except redmote and side handle 3 weeks later.. Still waiting ..... Was told end of Jan for deliv, but last week was told that probably wont happen and a more definitive would be given to me mid week this week. Have been shooting madly and LOVE the camera! but really could use the mote and handle. Definitely have been having flare issues in strong backlight situations- but i have always been a backlight guy so im ok with it, but have put in my request for the olpf flare guard. here is a link to vid

Received! 1x DSMC Side Handle. Installation is a snap. Now I just have to figure out how I want to program all these handy buttons.

Grip size reminds me of medium format cameras. Really like the jog wheel and menu selection tools. Makes a lot of sense and speeds things up a ton.

The only thing I don't like is the bottom button being programed to eject media. I've pushed that thing by accident like 10 times today - good thing it's all reprogrammable :)

Sure, I can give you another update on Friday :)

The Redmote button problem has been resolved, and they are going out the doors ( as people have been posting )

Here is a little behind the scenes video of one of our little QC robots in action. 10,000 cycles for 15 minutes.
