I like Hextall as a name. Few things arouse such passion in people as artistic endeavours like filmmaking or sports fandom. Combining the two seems logical.

My brother, father and I are all big Toronto Blue Jays fans so our digital cinema cameras are going to be named after the team's best home grown starting pitchers. I'd define that as starting pitchers who were drafted and developed by the team and went on to have either tremendous success for a few seasons or really strong performances for a long time. First comes "Stieb" (for Dave Stieb who was one of the best pitchers of the 1980s), followed by "Key" (for Jimmy Key who had an incredible 1987 season and a number of other really good ones) and then "Hentgen" (for 1996 Cy Young Award winner Pat Hentgen who was a great from 1993-1997 and then fought injuries afterwards) and "Halladay" (for Roy "Doc" Halladay, the greatest pitcher in club history). Maybe Ricky Romero will be good enough for long enough to be our fifth digital cinema camera down the road.

I think Saga (old norse word meaning story or "fairy tale") would be a fitting name as I am shure many great stories will be told wth this camera. I am also considering other names associated with the cultural heritage of my country like Viking, Jotun, Yggdrasil, Berserker and Glittertind or maybe Rangnarok (armageddon) since the world apparently comes to an end in 2012;P

Do you know if he was referring to 58208 or another number like 48208 or 68208? I think the SO numbers are five digits long.

I think all the ones in question start with a 5... we're just now getting to the 59000s on the list. Mine is 58017 (ugh)

58017 is pretty high up there, too. When did you order yours?

about a week before Robert did. Took me that long to make sure I'd have all the money. I probably should have just put down my deposit early and cancelled if I couldn't do it, but oh well.
At least I ordered PL, so if things keep going like they're going, I might get the camera sooner than if I went Canon.
Brian, you went Ti Canon right? Hope they finally catch up on those. They don't seem to be shipping many if any of those until they've got all the Ti Canon mount orders from Epic taken care of.
