Youre absolutely right. I owe you an apology for somehow forcing you to type on your computer. All the stuff about making fun and cults (wow, where'd that come from!?) are inventions from your last post, not mine, as we all see from the record. I wouldnt be surprised if other people on this forum feel your accusations and thread-hijacking really detract from this experience. You took what we all see was a light-hearted post and used it to fuel your own anger issues. I suggest you get over it and back on topic! :).

Now lets get back on topic :P

Any chance those R3Ds will become publicly available?

Its a t2.9 lens...not really a low available light lens

take a 5D with with an f2.8 lens and shoot at night at 1250iso, you will get PLENTY of noise in the image. All the low light footage people drool over is mainly shot on speedy glass f1.2/1.4

I've been grading a lot of low light, ISO 800 - 1250 footage we've shot in the last two weeks since the Scarlet arrived. Let me tell you one thing: stills are meaningless. You can't tell if you like the noise or not unless it's moving... sometimes it works great, sometimes it needs work...

... not that these aren't gorgeous stills, the photography is great.

On a 5D at the same f-stop and ISO all those highlights would likely be long gone unless they were thrown a lot more out of focus, which then again they might be on a FF35 sensor.
