    Cool, i'm gonna buy one.
And does anyone know a Mattebox solution(french flags) for this lens?
I know 3 filter solutions (Lee,Lucroit and this new Fotodiox) but i would need 3 flags to avoid the huge flare that this nikkor has.

I just ordered a Vocas 325. It should be in this week. I will let you re any fit/flare/vignette issues. However, I think I will pick up the new Fotodiox as well.

I don't believe the 14-24 will work with any mattebox without vignetting.

Maybe zooming the lens to 16-18mm range would be the solution?

From Steve Gibby (but using a Ruby modified 14-24):

"We found that at 14mm the Ruby 14-24 shows a small amount of the Red matte box on the right and left edges. I simply pushed in to half way between 15mm and 16mm and the easily lost the matte box edges. The 14-24 is a full frame 35mm lens. Images from the lens are very crisp, good contrast, and clean. I expected that because I've used the stock Nikon 14-24 on Red One with excellent results."

And from from Jacek Zakowicz, at OptiTek:

"I checked the 14-24 for vignetting with filters:
It will work with Red sensor (current one) when you use 4x5 filters(ARRI LMB5 clip on?)
6x6 filters will provide full frame(24x36mm) coverage (LMB3?)
The filters were right up against the front of the lens- I haven't checked for stacking more than one.
The front of the lens is 96mm diameter so you'll need:
    1. 96mm adapter plate for the mattebox (?)
    2. or a bellows that steps down to 96mm for swing away
    3. step down split ring to 96mm for a clip on."

I am still going to try it-w-the Vocas, but I need to get some "nuns nickers" and I will let you know how it goes. Even if I have to push to 15 or 16mm, I'll be happy with that.
