I'm using RedCine-X Pro Build 10 Beta 10.18644, with Epic 5k full frame footage. There is a bug when locking the aspect ratio.

    To demonstrate:
    - Select a clip
    - Framing tab
    - Lock aspect ratio 16:9
    - Center crop; You get a 16:9 section in the middle. If you drag the bottom or top red lines, it will stay 16:9.
    - If you drag the right or left red bars to expand, it will extend beyond 16:9.

Once it is over extended, if you drag the top/bottom bars to a new size, the left/right sides will continually flop back and forth between the locked 16:9 size and the over extended size.

Also the cursor will no longer grab the left/right bars where they appear, it will however grab them closer to the center where they do not appear, but their 16:9 lock would have them.

Naturally this is quite annoying and makes framing a 16:9 cut from full frame more challenging than necessary.

A similar problem exists for all the lock aspect ratio options. They can all be over extended, breaking the aspect ratio.

    Thanks!

Also, if I'm on custom crop, and the right and top sides are at the edge, I should be able to grab the left or bottom sides and have the opposite adjust keeping the ratio consistent. Instead something like this produces more awkward ratios and incorrect results.

David, this looks much improved in beta 14. There is still a quirk.

    Lock to 16:19.
    Set to custom crop.
Move the top/right to the full top/right if not already.
Move left in (bottom comes up) to constrain aspect ratio.
Move bottom down, thus violating locked aspect ratio.

Or Move top and bottom in, and fix the right side against the right image.
Then extend the left side, the bottom expands to the bottom of the image, then the left continues expanding, thus violating the constraint.

As it is, it's quite workable whereas before it was not.

    Thanks,
    Cory
