Just messing about on Friday w the Scarlet, while waiting on a battery plate
static shots b/c i was operating the camera as well as "acting"
4K@30fps, except the CU of the needle which is 3K@48. All 400ISO.
Image pretty clean, but I did run it through Neat Video and regrain in NUKE although vimeo it's hard to see the regrain anyway :)
    extra smoke added in NUKE

Really liking the operation of the camera w the touch LCD, but can't wait for the handle to have extra custom buttons

Nice example thanks for posting. Great to see some detailed close-up shots. Freaked me out a bit too, but in a good way!

    What light did you use?

Joe, I loved every second. You've done a very good job.

    1. What lens did you use ?
    2. Could you please tell us more about the lighting ? Did you only use one single light ?

Man, this is fine cinematography !

    Thanks guys

for light i just had a dimmed 300 on a stand and a reflector on the other side
    Lenses on my canon mount were a 30mm sigma 1.4, and a 50mm Zeiss(Contax)1.4

I'm pleased with how good an image I can get with my cheap slr glass, hope to own the Zeiss cp2 set in the next year w a few jobs under the belt.

Last question : where did the smoke come from ? :-)

Was it just a cigarette ?

I tried a burning piece of paper ..but was afraid of smoke alarm going off, so I composited more in with stock smoke footage in NUKE :)
