A wireless follow focus, no matter how good, will always have some degree of lag and noise, and will always drain extra battery.

I love my bartech! It keeps my AC's hands off my lens and we find its way more accurate than our arri ff. We use Illumina primes and the focus throw is very large so if you have a very long rack , its impossible to complete the rack with a wip. Normally, if we are interior, we hook up a 120$ colby 1080p tv via hdmi and my AC can not only use marks on the bartech wheel but actually pull focus visually.. Yes, there is a tiny bit of motor noise but we have not noticed any lag at all.. We have not touched the arri once since we got the bartech, but we always have the arri with us..just incase
