Here is a reel from the new lightweight Cineron head that can be handheld, or mounted on a car, helicopter, crane or jib and even light enough to be on a RC helicopter. We had a chance to check out the prototype and got some super smooth shots while handheld and running with a Scarlet.

Here is some stuff they shot with a RC helicopter and a Sony FS100 and Epic...

    Ahh, the DJI magic gimbal.

I have been trying to get DJI to let me buy one for a while.

Wow, how cool is this! And you got a great pilot too. The shot he is commanding it from a rolling Segway. I´m impressed. Thanks for sharing this. Please share the website from the manufacturer once is ready.

The Cineron has already been used in a couple of movies including this weeks Chronicles. The first rental house in Hollywood that will have it in April is Division Camera on Sunset.

Yea Colin is an amazing pilot, he's been flying Epic's on his ships since day one, here's a pic of his older non stabilized mount with a Epic. Prior to the Cineron all the RC stuff was pretty shaky with people doing a lot of post stabilization and slomo to make it almost usable.

Wow Aaron ... that footage is very impressive! Have you got pics of how it would look being used handheld, on a car etc?

    Love the idea but:

Didn't the FAA make flying these things illegal last week?
