Will a cheaper Bottom plate /15 kit be around as well?

The bottom plate is one that's going to stay as-is... though we have dropped the price significantly. I'd never want to compromise on the piece that actually attaches your camera to things! :) As for other parts... just wait!

We're doing some tests to see if it's viable. There isn't as much real estate for engraving, so it may be tricky... but if it'll fit, we'll do it!

Will prefer it in black.

It will ultimately be black, the render came out a funny color.

One quick question, I don't see a hole for backfocus adjustment.
Is one of the holes lined up and just not labeled?

This rendering is a few design revisions old. We're trying to fit it in there but we're ultimately at the mercy of physics on this one. It may not actually be possible to fit that hole while maintaining the threaded inserts!

As far as the backfocus port goes, you were able to fit it into the other VF Top Plates, so I have faith.

Would be a shame if we had to remove it everytime that needed to be adjusted.

Are these cast as opposed to CNC? Are they made in USA?

These appear to be neither, but rather 2-piece sheet-steel units bent on a brake.
