Hey everyone, I've got a beta version of an OpenEXR plug-in for Premiere. It will be part of the next rev of the ProEXR package. This beta runs for 90 days in trial mode.

When installed in the proper MediaCore plug-in folder, you'll be able to import and export OpenEXR sequences in Premiere and Media Encoder. It has the same compression options that the After Effects plug-in has, and also lets you access alternate channels in a multi-channel EXR if you happen to have them. Timecode is supported on both input and output. This plug-in is built for CS5.5, but I can provide a CS5 version for any hold-outs; just email me.
Premiere actually has support for a linear floating point color space (who knew?), so that's what the plug-in uses. But unlike After Effects, Premiere does not let you control how color space conversions are done, so there's currently no way to set up a view LUT like you would with a real film workflow. The conversion from linear to video space is a simple gamma 2.2 operation.
I'm a VFX artist, not an editor, and this is my first Premiere plug-in, so your feedback is greatly appreciated. I don't plan to ship this thing for a few months, so there's plenty of time to get it right. Let me know what you think!
