    Hi guys,

Sorry I know there are threads for backorder items, but there seem to be hundreds of pages now so navigating is not easy. I'm order 883 and as yet have not received my Scarlet with Titanium Canon Mount. I've looked through the list and can't see anyone else who has received the Canon Titanium mount. The last thing I read was that it would be out of backorder by 31st Jan. I take it this is not now the case? Anyone else received their Scarlet with this mount? I'm supposed to be moving to Scotland in less than two weeks on a wildlife shoot with no camera!

    Cheers

    Pete

Sorry, have just found this thread:

    http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthr...ding-Scarlets)

Still, I'd be interested to hear if anyone knows what's going on as the last I heard this was supposed to be out of backorder by now.

    Cheers

They hope to be out of back order by the END of February. A pessimist may interpret that to mean that the last existing order might just be allocated by the last stroke of midnight into 3/1... That's allocated, not received, shipped or even built.

Bugger! Thanks for the reply. Looks like I'm going to need to get a backup camera in the meantime in that case.

Yes, fingers crossed! Out of interest, where abouts did you read this? I've been hunting around and can't seem to find this info.

    Thanks,

    Pete

Just out of curiosity, where did you hear that? I dearly hope that it won't be the end of February after hearing RED estimate January 31st in their last backorder update.

I cant understand why they wont let us either change our orders to pl mounts or AL Canon mounts or give us the option to take delivery of our brain without the mount until it is in stock.

Its very frustrating. The delivery of two Scarlet customers who order at the same time can vary by as much as three months, based soley on the mount.

    Doesnt seem right to me.

That date is for the mount only, not the Scarlet with the mount. I could be mistaken but it was my understanding that the Scarlet Ti Canon mount would begin allocation after that backlog was cleared. I will look for a quote on the February date.

Edit: I've been digging, but can't find the post RE: February Back order that made me think as I do. Sorry

Don´t we have consumer rights in the US?
If Red was based in scandinavia they would be obliged to cover loss or provide al mounts by now.
