    Am I alone in thinking this complete lack of information on Ti canon mounts is shockingly unprofessional?

    And even more in my opinion. Since Red is unable to deliver them, why won´t they offer a Al mount instead for those few who would settle for it?

    1) No, you are probably not alone - but also I doubt that you are in any sort of majority. :-)

    2) Everyone had a chance to choose what they wanted at the beginning. You are not being discriminated against. Those of us who chose Al mounts, and don't yet have them, might be annoyed if you were to get precedence, don't you think?

    We all make choices, we live with them. No?

    I don't see why someone would get upset if an order placed before them is fulfilled before them. I'm sure it upsets a lot of people who ordered early on but ordered a Ti mount seeing all these Scarlets go out with other mounts for orders placed after them. I don't understand why someone can't switch out a mount for a camera already ordered if the mount is the item holding up the order.

    But that's not what he asked... and the timing of the orders is unstated.

    As an aside, I asked my BS rep awhile ago if changing to a Ti mount might help push my order up. He advised me to sit tight. Seeking information can sometimes be helpful.

    You said people could get annoyed if someone got precedence over someone else who originally ordered an Al mount. What scenario would someone get precedence by changing their order?

    I don't understand that either, and i didn't want to switch, i wanted to ADD Al mount to my order to get scarlet a few weeks faster, and get my Ti mount whenever it'll available - no way,
    can't do that without loosing my position in line;

    I asked my BS rep awhile ago to change mine to a PL mount after seeing no Ti mount Scarlets ship. He said not only would that put me at the end of the queue but I would also be subject to 2012 pricing. Not only was I going to switch to a PL mount, but was going to offer RED more business by purchasing a RPZ.

    Yes - that was what I was told as well - I'd go to the end of the queue. That has been their policy since the beginning of Scarlet availability. I guess the issue is whether people should be able to shift back and forth as they see which way the wind blows. Can't see how that would really work for RED, or benefit the customer base overall.

    This is why I ordered a PL mount.
